These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the AM Appliance Mates website (appliancemates.com.au) and your engagement with AM Appliance Mates for appliance supply, delivery, and installation services. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

AM Appliance Mates is operated from 200 Beatty Rd, Archerfield QLD 4108.

Use of This Website

The content on appliancemates.com.au is provided for general information purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant that all information is current, complete, or error-free, including product specifications, pricing, and availability.

You may not use this website to transmit unsolicited communications, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or engage in any activity that breaches applicable laws.

Orders and Pricing

Placing an order: Submitting an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we confirm your order by email.

Pricing: All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed in your order confirmation is the price that applies to your order.

Product availability: We make reasonable efforts to keep inventory information accurate. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or a refund.

Trade pricing: Trade pricing for approved accounts is provided on a separate basis. Trade prices are confidential and not for disclosure to third parties.

Payment

C-end customers: Payment is required in full at the time of ordering via the available online payment methods.

Trade account customers: Approved trade account customers may pay by bank transfer on invoice terms as agreed at the time of account approval. Payment is due within the agreed terms. Overdue accounts may result in suspension of trade account access.

We do not store card details. All card payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

Delivery

Installation

Installation is not included in the product price unless explicitly stated. Installation availability depends on the product type, postcode, and site conditions. Installation terms are set out on our Delivery & Installation page.

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate delivery address and contact information
Ensure safe access to the delivery and installation area on the agreed date
For property managers: arrange tenant access prior to the confirmed delivery/installation date
Inspect goods on delivery and note any damage before signing acceptance
Obtain any necessary strata, body corporate, or building approvals prior to installation

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs arising from failure to meet access requirements or provide accurate information.

Returns and Refunds

Warranty

Warranty terms are set out on our Warranty & Support page and form part of these Terms and Conditions.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim is limited to:

Re-supplying or replacing the relevant goods or services, or
Refunding the amount paid

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of income, loss of data, or damage not directly caused by our supply or installation.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual Property

All content on appliancemates.com.au — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of AM Appliance Mates or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use this content without prior written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
